Maverick has proven to take a lot more time than, my other babies, but I think that is okay he is my last. All the holding of him for the most part I guess is a good thing. I don't get the house cleaned or get groceries but I do get to bond with my adorable baby. We had a great Christmas, the kids got way to much stuff(mostly from their Nanny). I was sure 2 days before Christmas that Santa was not going to come, because the girls were being such "bad" little girls. Brighton and Aspen fought about everything and about nothing! We had a family from church "secret Santa" us and it was great, all the toys were in this great looking Santa bag which was left on our porch.
This has been our hardest year financially since we started the business, for many reasons that are long and boring, but I'm feeling confident that this tax season will earn enough money to start paying back some debts and give us money to live on.
Well i guess this will be short and sweet because my needy baby needs me right now.

All kids were as strong as Aspen.
Well, school started about 4 weeks ago--and I had my first chance today to go into Aspen's class for her "school summer B-day party". Leading up to this point I kept asking Aspen about names of friends and she would always name off all boys. I would say "Aspen don't you have any girl friends?" She would mention one or two girl names--So in her class today there were 13 boys and only 6 girls. The other 5 girls are really not. . .how do I say this. . the type of girls Aspen would naturally choose as a friend. Aspen's class is for sure a tough class for Aspen to be in. Jarrett and I have tried really hard to raise both Brighton and Aspen(and the boys when they get older) to be friends with everyone--and so far they both are doing so well at it. I now understand why one of the only girls she mentions the most, she only sees in the car rider area and why she really, really misses preschool. I'm so proud of Aspen to walk into school everyday--with no real best friend and she does it with a smile on her face--to bad because of it I think she is taking a lot of her anxiety out on her family so she can keep the happy face on at school. It does help that Aspen has a great teacher--and is probably teachers pet:)
I have not gotten to visit Brighton's class really this year either but I know a lot of the kids in her class and she has more girls than boys, and I think things are rather easy for her. She loves her teacher and has even started a "Mystery Club" which we made sure everyone was allowed to join--she said all girls were allowed but not boys. We asked her why the boys could not join and she said "Why would a boy want to be in a club with all girls??!!" well i have more updates but maverick just woke up so i'm typing with one hand, so we'll update later.

Being a mom--I really enjoyed this clip--I also have to say Cindy McCain is so pretty(not to mention her great taste in clothing!)!! She is not a trophy wife either, if you research her, she took a failing/small company and made it into a very successful company--she has her own money from her own success, not inherited and, not her husband's. I love the last clip in his mommy's arms:)
